So I figured, why not? After reading well over a dozen of those letters I began to see a pattern emerge. Many of them are college graduates who were told by their LIBERAL school system to get a degree (doesn't matter which one) so that you can get a great job. It's the same crap I was brought up listening to and chances are you have heard the same.

They often have many problems that, while sad and unfortunate, leads them to believe that for some reason, people owe them stuff. On top of that, they seem hell bent on making sure someone or some company provides them with work in their dream job. The so called "movement" tried to claim legitimacy by saying their protests were about the government giving bailouts to mega banks. Um, yeah, I like that idea and so does the ENTIRE TEA PARTY. But unlike the tea party who seek freedom FROM government, the 99% crowd thinks the only way to "equal" is for the government to overstep it's boundaries start shaking down earners and job creators. Even when it comes to protesting, the tea party and the Occupy people have different ideas. The tea party has never caused a riot where members started to break business windows and loot them, unlike the Occupy people. And the Tea Party protests peacefully and even cleans up after itself, unlike the occupy drones who have taken to ruining public squares with drugs, violence and human waste. Not to mention that awful hippy music.

My final problem with this overly pretentious movement is that it has the nerve to claim the opinions of 99% of the population when they only represent members of the fringe left. I was born relatively poor and even now, I live in a studio apartment in downtown San Francisco. But I have no intention of staying there or waiting for some night in government armor to "save" me. And I certainly do not blame anyone for my situation because I will succeed or fail due to my own devices.

Stop supporting the wall street protesters!

Seriously, I have seen too many people fall in appeasement to the Occupy crowd lately. Even people from our own side seem to have blinders on and can only see the one argument we can agree on. That argument being that the Government should not be giving money to companies, especially when it comes to special interest favoritism. Yes, we agree on that issue, in fact, that is why the Tea Party was started. Yet the same scum faced Occupy folks went out of their way to call us crude names like "tea baggers" and even make a video game called Tea Party Zombies in which you mercilessly shoot tea party attendees and conservative pundits.

Other than that one issue we agree on, the vast, and I do mean VAST majority of the protesters are in favor of some form of socialism, anarchy or communism. Just yesterday there was a riot in Oakland involving the Occupy people there. Have you EVER heard of a riot being started on behalf of the Tea Party? And yet the media, liberals and soft skinned RINOs have been all too quick to call the extremely peaceful and patriotic Tea Party everything vile, including Nazis.

To all you so called conservatives and Republicans who say you stand with the Occupy Wall street crowd, do us a favor and stay there. Some of the more moderate republicans are people I know very well, and though we do not agree on everything, we see eye to eye when it comes to limited government and other issues, though they are the first to cry foul over social issues that many Americans hold very dear to their beliefs. This frustration often leads to civil wars within the Republican party which can lead to a lack of identity and unity.

Just as a thought, what would happen if the moderates of the Republican party decided to become democrats rather than change the views of many republicans until the GOP is no longer recognizable? They could overtake the democrat party and appeal to voters with a message of less government and liberal policies in relation to social issues.

The conservative wing of the GOP is always threatening to leave the party when the moderates get too much power, but why should they? They often talk about starting third parties and that gets us nowhere. As it is now, and has been historically, the Republican party has always been a conservative party. But if the moderates left the GOP and joined the Democrat party, taking over central committees and eventually the entire DNC, it would be a win win for America. In more liberal areas, they could vote for the socially liberal, yet fiscally conservative democrat and the choice would now be between two parties who want the country to stick to it's roots while differing on some small differences on the "how".

Best of all, the choice would no longer be about choosing between the watered down Republican and the direct clone of Stalin as it is now.

I'm not proposing anything, it was really a passing thought trapped forever in idealism land.

A call to defend life

We have had a short amount of time to define ourselves as Americans, compared to other countries. Of our over 235 years in existence, perhaps one of our darkest chapters revolve around slavery and the outright insult to our founding documents that “All men are created equal”. Those who supported slavery proclaimed that slaves were not the same as their owner and that he had a right to do with his “property” as he wished. But it was the undeniable contrasting opinion that abolitionists held that made it impossible to tolerate the forced and captive labor of others.

You see, slavery could only exist when slaves were thought as mere objects because a civilized and righteous man has a conscience that will not tolerate the unwarranted abuse and denial or rights of another person. This leads me into my main point regarding the denial of human status to the fetus within womb. The constitution denies anyone from removing life, liberty or property from anyone without due process. Therefore, any abortion would be considered unconstitutional unless the fetus were stripped of it’s humanity by the Supreme Court, as it was during Roe vs. Wade.

Despite the legal definition of life not being restricted to the moment of conception, I would remind you that just because something has been decided by the courts, that does not make it true. In our early history, slavery was legal. The denial of human status to those trapped by slave traders and sold to plantations and wealthy land owners was, by law, considered a legitimate legal practice. Regardless of law, we know that by the rights granted to us in the constitution, no man can own another.

I have heard the argument that an under developed fetus is no more human than a fingernail. Of course, one would have to make that comparison in order to side step the obvious consequence should that fingernail be given back its humanity. Perhaps that is why very few have ever witnessed footage of an unborn fetus being torn apart limb from limb or struggle as the doctor proceeds to sever its spine.

Those who do witness the act are often changed by it, just as Abby Johnson was

Abby Johnson, 29, used to escort women from their cars to the clinic in the eight years she volunteered and worked for Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. It's a very simple concept, but one that remains relevant in social matters. I recently read an article mentioning the surprising rise in white supremacy organizations in the U.S. Though I have to admit, I was not very surprised.

I don't have a problem with the movement for racial equality, in fact I applaud it, but the civil rights movement of yesteryear is vastly different from the one we see today. This new civil rights movement is no longer about equality as much as it is about entitlement. I don't know how long the various black groups are going to beat the dead horse of slavery as the reason why a large segment of their population is destitute and, for lack of a better word, stupid.

Instead of the public speaking out, the media has ensured that anyone who dares to question the new civil entitlements movement as a racist. The media has gone a step further; promoting black culture while vilifying white culture. Don't believe me? Well take the following for example: I have to mention to you that I am a Hispanic/Asian Pacific Islander, not a white person from the deep south. Though I may not be vilified as a racist, I may still be vilified for speaking the truth.

This brings me to my main point. For at least a couple of decades, the media have been shaming whites so relentlessly that many have lost their identity. Being made to feel guilty for their very existence, some may begin to think, "You know what? White culture is not the devil's work. We've accomplished a lot to advance civilization, science and the foundation of democracy." That pride, which is well deserved, may then convert into resentment. Much like persecuted blacks sometimes turned to black supremacist organizations like the nation of Islam and the Black Panthers.

I think the problem stems from the reality that black people in America have done little to earn respect from other citizens. They have, instead, embraced a thuggish counter culture, an abrasive vocabulary and a twisted mentality. I doubt I will ever understand the black culture ideology involving infidelity, poverty and ignorance as badges of honor. Yeah, you really showed "whitey" how opposite you can be by being a lecherous, broke, ignorant person. Way to advance your cause.

Society has been more than kind, given our past faults, but there comes a time when a people must look beyond the past and into the future, where respect is earned and those who degrade a people by acting like stereotypes are considered by their brothers and sisters as the real "Uncle Toms" and not those who choose to speak out.

Abortion Vs. Cigarettes

We all know the drill, they have been shoving this religious dogma down our throats for decades. Smoking kills. Well, that may be true, but I just had a random thought. How many people die from smoking related deaths in comparison with deaths caused via abortions.

Each year, roughly 840,000 abortions are carried in the United States alone. And each year, roughly 443,000 people die from smoking related illness in the U.S. This means that each year, abortions eliminate twice as many lives as smoking.

The standard line is often: Cigarette companies are evil because they profit off death.

But by that logic, Abortion clinics profit because they offer death as a service. But abortion clinics are practically revered as saints by the media. Heck, cigarette companies aren't event funded by the government like planned parenthood is.

So it's obvious, the true evil death profiteer is Planned Parenthood by a landslide two to one.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://digitalconservative.blogspot.com/2011/05/abortion-vs-cigarettes.html' title='Abortion Vs. This has, of course, brought with it controversy. And now that then entire nation, with the exception of Berkeley, celebrates the death of a monster, I wonder if this will add to the ire already being displayed at DC.

But of course, we know that the real heroes are not colorful guys in spandex, they are the soldiers of our great American military. They are the ground troops, pilots and special forces who truly defend truth, justice and the American way.

I can hardly believe what I am hearing

We all know the great news. Usama Bin Laden is dead, but what I find absolutely hard to believe is how people are talking about how important it was to give him a proper Muslim burial at sea.

I mean, what parallel universe am I living in? To treat this man, who has rightfully earned a reputation amongst American's as the most vile of creatures since Adolf Hitler, with any shred of respect is downright disgraceful. There are a million ways I could come up with to bury him and one way is to have him buried in a ditch, face down covered in pigs blood. That monster deserves no less.

This also contradicts what the left has been saying regarding the "peaceful" nature of Islam. Hitler may have claimed to be Christian, though we all agree that his actions were not of Christ. And as a result, no one with an ounce of rational thought would dare suggest that treating the body of Hitler with disrespect would enrage Christians around the world. If Usama Bin Laden was such a "rogue" Muslim, as the media continues to claim, then why would any large amount of Muslims be angered that someone who is supposedly corrupting the "true nature" of Islam is being treated with such disrespect?

This just shows me how weak we have become. It is truly a bittersweet moment for me.

I applaud our men and women in uniform for all they have done. I also know that the completion of this mission is far more important than the manner in which his corpse is handled.

The Democrat Lunatic Noone Wants To Point Out

We all know that the GOP and the DNC have their fair share of lunatics on their side. Now, one would assume at first glance that Mr. Phelps and his spawn are of the side more likely to oppose homosexuality, which is of course the Republican party. This, however, is not true. The man is a life long democrat, having run under the party for office multiple times for the office of Governor. Not because I want to be liked or have a problem with being called a racist/bigot/meanie-weenie. But it is because the term "islamophobia" is so overused and so seldom understood thanks in large part to the mainstream liberal media.

The first argument is that I am racist. Well for one, I am not a racist because Islam is not a race. If you are referring to being anti-Arab, then I would invite you to learn a little bit of knowledge. A majority of Muslims worldwide are not ethnically Arabic. Just as a good portion of Christians who owe our religion to the same region are not necessarily Arabs either.

The other is that I am a bigot. Well, as I have said before, if I were to say of Islam what it says about non-Muslims, then yes, I guess I could be considered a bigot. But I don't even come close to hating Islam as much as Islam hates us "infidels". Instead I believe in the goodness of individual Muslims but regard Islam itself as a system (not religion) of hate, discrimination and intolerance.

As mentioned in my earlier Blog Similarities Between Hollywood Villains And Islam, I believe Islam to be a great threat to all free people, yet it is not a threat we can even discuss without being called hate mongers or ignorant. But I believe in a free society in which the individual right to free speech is as valid as the right to be offended.

Similarities between Hollywood villains and Islam

I was thinking about how Hollywood is notorious for constantly portraying Muslims as the constant victim of Judeo-Christian oppression, but when it comes to classic Hollywood villians, it is so easy to draw a comparrison with Islam.

Case #1 - The Borg from Star Trek the Next Generation

These villains are a constant threat not just to the main characters in the show/movies, but to all life. Even the the bad guys within the show are targets of the Borg who will not rest until the entire universe assimilates (convert) or dies. As a famous line from the show goes. "We are the Borg. Assimilate or be destroyed." Their mechanical fanaticism cannot be reasoned with. Going even further in comparison, Islam demands that before waging jihad, assuming a Muslim is not attacked first, he must first offer the ultimatum. Assimilate or die. It is required for Islam to offer non-Muslims the choice to submit to Islam, keep their religion but face persecution and taxes or prepare for war.

Case #2 The Necromongers from The Chronicles of Riddick.

In this science fiction movie, a race known as the Necromongers travel from planet to planet seeking to control the galaxy. Their mission is to convert other races into Necromongers, enslave them or kill them all. Their ultimate goal is to convert the entire galaxy so that they can reach their version of Heaven which is described more as a hell.

The movie probably noticed the correlation between the Necromongers and Islam and as a result, a planet of Muslim humans are the first victims of the Necromongers.

Case #3 Nazis from just about every war movie to pseudo-science fiction movie (Think star wars and the evil empire)

The truth is that Islam is so compatible with Nazi ideology that during the war, many Muslims joined with the Nazis for the sheer opportunity to destroy the Jews. Despite not being Aryan, many Muslims were welcomed into the ranks of the SS and their mission to eradicate the Jews.

Hollywood often represents a very leftist ideology. One that would normally oppose a system that subjugates women and demands loyalty or death. A shared belief from all free people. However, in America, there is no greater threat than those of the Christian faith who reject the immoral culture Hollywood seeks to impose on the nation. It then comes as no surprise when they side with the enemy for the sake of doing damage to Christianity and this nation founded on Judeo-Christian values.

At least one thing I am fine going to jail for.

As of this writing, I have no criminal record, nor do I plan to obtain one. Living in the heart of San Francisco, I can tell you that gay marriage is as much a virtue as slaughtering the unborn. It is an issue supported by Hollywood, the left wing media and good old fashioned social sponges.

Whether or not someone is gay does not concern me. That is something to be left between himself and the Almighty. What I do object to, is the belief that marriage for homosexuals is somehow a right. Or that it will not effect anyone but those getting married. A general feeling of apathy usually allows such legislation to go through. But those who get their information via John Stewart take what they hear at face value. The left paints all opponents as those akin to Klan members and make the ignorant claim that we "hate" homosexuals. I challenge them to prove that I hate members of my own family or friends.

The myth that gay marriage effects no one is an old, but effective one. The act of legalizing gay marriage is paving the way for the "normalization" of homosexual marriage and lifestyle. Any outward opposition may be counted as "hate crimes" and lead to the inevitable fines and incarceration for expressing your opposition to a lifestyle the state forces you to accept.

Despite their claim to the contrary, the left will institute a range of homosexual tolerance courses, mandated via the legalization of gay marriage. For example, the act of repealing don't ask don't tell will result in homosexual indoctrination courses required for all service members in order to force those unwilling to accept the decision out of the service.

More importantly to me, is the fact that there are no votes necessary to alter so drastically our way of life. Despite the opposition of 7 million California voters, the will of the people may be subverted by a single, openly homosexual judge.

The Tea Party And The French Revolution

Since the beginning of the movement, I have always been a die hard member of the Tea Party. When attending parties I wear a Tea Party lapel pin and when attending any local Republican events, I am quick to let them know that I've got my eye on them.

If I would have just one critique of the movement of which I am involved, it is that anger often gets the best of us. Those who would be great allies often come under attack by the Tea Party and I am often reminded of the French revolution more than the American revolution.

After seizing power back for the people from the king, the revolutionaries began a series of post victory accusations against just about everyone. Just because a fellow conservative does not agree with you on every issue, it does not mean he is a socialist drone.

Still, what the Tea Party does well is remain vigilant. In just about every conversation I hear within the City's central committee and speaker event is the impact of the Tea Party. Some are overjoyed while others discuss ways to "limit" the influence the Tea Party has.

Feel free to call a RINO (Republican in Name Only) a RINO. I'll join you, but you would do well to remember what a person has done consistently in the past as opposed to what he might have done once in recent memory.

Social Programs Are Bankrupting Our Nation

I attended a discussion put on by the Common Wealth Club in San Francisco last night. When first arriving I encountered a group of elderly people (mostly women) who were chanting and screaming about not touching Social Security. They formed a picket line in front of the building and I proceeded to do what I do best: Cross picket lines.

I had a hunch from before I arrived that I would be at least 20 years younger than a majority of those in attendance. Not because it was a forum on social security, but because it was a forum on economic policy and most people my age would rather play video games. (Though to be honest that is sometimes the case for me as well)

Eventually my friends arrived and I no longer felt so outnumbered by gray hairs. The program was moderated by Tom Campbell and he did a great job. There were four people in all, two of them liberals, one was fairly conservative and the other was a center left kind of guy.

The one thing that resounded from this event was a common consensus between every panelist. Simply put, "Social Programs will bankrupt our nation, but we can't get rid of them". They were referring to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, but would also include Obama's Health Care travesty. As I sat there listening to them argue over how best to tax us, rather than cutting an over bloated system, I thought, "Wow, I feel really unrepresented". I mean, being 27, I will never get any social security because by the time I'm ready to retire, the system will be beyond bankrupt as I am absolutely sure the Chinese will no longer lend us money in exchange for a weak dollar.

The only hope for me is, and its a shocker, to become self reliant. Oh, how un-American. (sarcasm doesn't translate well into text....but that was sarcasm)

I am willing to cede that those who are already on Social Security and those who will be on it soon should get what they were promised, but people my age and maybe into their thirties should simply be cut off and the Socialist Security farce should be retired. I mean, we won't see it anyway so why tell us that we will?

At first, I felt a little intimidated. Being in a big forum with panelists who have lots of fancy degrees and experience made me question why I should be questioning them. Then it hit me, because it still doesn't make any sense. If they can admit that these programs do not work, and that they will lead to our destruction, why protect them? Social Security has been painted as an American right, when it is in fact, an un-American in principle. The very notion that the government should take care of you is unconstitutional and is better left to the vast majority of Americans who, when given the liberty to do so, will often offer themselves freely to the cause of humanity.

Of course to liberals, we don't know what is good for humanity, despite the millions Americans give, despite crushing taxes, every year to the less fortunate around the world. Because to them, they are the brains of this nation and ultimately know best.

Conservative Radicals Vs. I see it all the time here in San Francisco. A group of young college students will offer their favorite quotes from the Daily Show with John Stewart as to why Sarah Palin is the anti-Christ or rather the anti-thereisnosuchthingasgodbutforthesakeofphraseswewillallowtheuseofthenameChrist. The other pinkos will nod their heads in agreement sipping lattes at a Starbucks and chime in with something they read on moveon.org. To blow this much smoke up ones ass you would think you needed a hose.

But one man's terrorist is not necessarily another man's freedom fighter if what the terrorist fights for is not freedom. Take Hamas in Palestine for example. A group of terrorists who adore Adolf Hitler and hate the Jews is touted by the CNN crowd as heroic freedom fighters as they use women and children as shields and intentionally fire rockets at Israeli schools. The U.N. gives the Holocaust denying president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a platform to speak out and spout hate and ignorance.

Lately, the state run media has given a lot of attention to the growing militia movements in the United States and has been quick to label them, "Home grown terrorists" citing incidents by actual rouge extremists like the uni-bomber, the Oklahoma city bombing and various race based radical groups as proof. However, they intentionally mislabel and categorize them in the attempt to make all militia and anti-big government groups seem like terrorists.

As I was walking past a magazine rack in my local bookstore I came across a magazine named Mother Jones which splashed the words, "Age of Treason" on the front. Inside was a very one sided report on the Oath Keepers and the general modern militia movement. The article took to reviewing two people who were outspoken, and often times misinformed members of random groups. They portrayed our soldiers as people who joined simply as a last ditch effort after they impregnate their girlfriends or quit their "real jobs". They even stooped so low as to focus on a former member who was convicted of raping a 7 year old girl. A member the article admits the members distanced themselves from. But that is not the point of bringing up this distasteful person. Their motive is to say that such a vile person is a common member of the movement. The article tried its best to sound non-partisan, but the language used to describe the Oath Keepers was obviously tainted with snide remarks, talks of out of control radicalism and anti-government paranoia.

What they failed to realize is that the majority of Militia and Oath Keepers are regular citizens. They are Republicans, Democrats and Independents who believe that the nation their forefathers established is under attack from radicals seeking to turn our free republic into a clone of European socialist states. The radicals are instead in the white house. Radicals on a mission to
rewrite our constitution, destroy our national sovereignty and indoctrinate our children.

The Oath Keepers remember their oath to defend the constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic (Hence their name) and are aware that in that oath their allegiance is not to the president, congress or popular opinion, but to the Constitution. But how would the left know this. Many still believe the words "Separation of church and state" is in the constitution.

Militia members are also singled out in an unfair attempt to label them as white nationalist groups bent on suppressing the rights on the rest of society. Instead, many militia groups do not have racial requirements to join and do not have racial leanings in their charters. Perhaps the most famous militia group are the Minutemen who volunteer their time to help the understaffed and under funded U.S. Border Patrol locate and capture illegal invaders as they try to cross our borders. They are armed, but only for their protection as illegals often smuggle drugs and weapons across our borders. The Minutemen, considered a racist organization by the left wing media, has not only located illegal immigrants, but has on many occasions saved their lives by giving them water and food.

There will never be a time in the future where the media will ever report the truth about these organization and what they do to preserve our freedoms. But for the militia man, his duty is not to attain praise or fame, but to restore a republic and fight for his country men. For that reason, the modern militia should be considered heroes and vanguards of our liberty and constitution.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://digitalconservative.blogspot.com/2010/03/conservative-radicals-vs-muslim.html' title='Conservative Radicals Vs. This can be very frustrating and can lead to negative thoughts that release themselves from my mental plain as uncollected and messy rants. And that is what I see a lot of today. A great majority of conservative thinkers being reduced to the ranting of mad men.

Our beliefs are strong, but our solutions are reactionary at best. We direct our energy in ways it need not be directed or in ways that do no good. Take the Obama birth certificate issue for example. Take it for example and abandon it as quickly as possible. It's never going to happen people. Even if we had evidence that 100 percent proved that Obama was ineligible for the presidency, there is no way in heaven or hell that anyone would do anything about it. There is too much risk to national stability involved when dealing with a man these cultists view as more than human. He is their divine intervention, their savior. Do you think they would peacefully and quietly lets us have our victory over a technicality?

Technically the cops involved in the Rodney King fiasco were innocent according to the courts. But it doesn't matter. They still rioted. And that was just in a few locations. Imagine the entire country. But more disturbing to me is that we are starting to sound like the dems when they lost in 2000. Speech of that kind is easily dismissed as radical and therefore illegitimate.

I can assure you that the current state of the nation and the GOP is indeed troubling to me, but before our heads explode, we must consider the long term effects of our actions.

As a movement, we must establish ourselves as unmovable. Both to the left and to the saboteurs in the GOP. Our principles must be clear and unwavering. Uphold the constitution, protect free expression, promote a free market, secure our borders, support our soldiers, police and other service men and women, and believe in the power of the individual.

That is my view anyway of where the GOP needs to go. None of this global warming fanaticism, religion silencing, market crushing, neo-Marxist ideology. If the GOP is so determined to move in that direction, then they may as well resign themselves to obscurity.
